On your arrival at the Srinagar International Airport, you will be taken to hotel after check in our driver will take you for local sightseeing that includes:

NISHAT: Nishat  Bagh is located on the eastern side of Dal Lake, running along its bank, with  the Zabarwan Mountains in the background, the stunning vista of the Dal Lake,  and the beautiful sight of tall trees and colourful flowers within the garden's  various terraces. It was designed by Asaf Khan, brother of Noor Jahan, in 1633  AD. The garden is known for its 12 terraces, each representing a zodiac sign. A  rectangular pool was created in the centre of the garden by bringing down a  mountain spring through the help of a 15-feet high slide.

SHALIMAR : The Shalimar Bagh literally means  "Abode of Love" and was built by the Mughal Emperor Jahangir for his  lovely wife Nur Jahan. It is the largest Mughal garden of all three, stretching  along an area of 31 acres on the banks of the Dal Lake. The quintessential  feature of the garden is its terraced landscape, with the terraces rising above  one another, lined with Chinar trees and beautiful water fountains. The water  channel Shah Nahar, running from higher terrace to the lower, is a cherry on  top.

CHASHMA SHAHI: Chashme Shahi, the smallest of  all the Mughal Gardens of Srinagar, is widely known for its terraced lawns,  freshwater spring and colorful flowers. The garden is located at one end of the  Dal Lake at the foothills of the Zabarwan mountains. Originally built in 1632  under the supervision of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, the garden has undergone  various renovations in the succeeding years. It was named by the Emperor  himself after the freshwater spring, the chashma, which is highly refreshing  have mineral content.

SHANKAR ACHARIYA  TEMPLE: The ancient  Shankaracharya temple is located in Srinagar atop Shankaracharya Hill, at a  height of 1100 feet. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva, the Hindu God of  Destruction. Built in 371 B.C., the temple has withstood various natural  disasters. It has been renovated numerous times but the old Kashmiri  architecture stays intact. It is situated atop a solid rock with an octagonal  basement of 13 layers. The main shrine, situated above a flight of stairs in a  circular complex, dates back to the 11th century and provides a breathtaking  360-degree view of Srinagar and the Dal lake. This temple is said to be the  oldest known site in Srinagar. PLEASE  NOTE, NO CAMERAS OR MOBILE PHONES ARE ALLOWED INSIDE THE TEMPLE COMPLEX.

Today we will proceed towards Sonmarg  day trip which enroute Hazratbal shrine and Sagg eco Village.

 

HAZRATBAL  SHRINE: The Hazratbal Shrine is a Muspm shrine located  in Srinagar, located right next to Dal Lake.on the banks of Dal Lake. Also  known as, Dargah Sharif, is considered to be one of the hopest Muspm shrines.  It contains a repc, Moi-e-Muqqadas, which is widely bepeved to be the hair of  the Islamic prophet Muhammad. The shrine seems home to thousands of pigeons. If  you visit here in the morning, you will find a lot of people coming to the  shrine to feed these pigeons.

 

SAGG ECO VILLAGE: Sagg eco village is a natural farm cum retreat center located  on the sindh foothills in ganderbal, kashmir (65 kms from Sonmarg). You can go for a pony ride to explore  the nearby meadows, take a nature walk along the river, or simply relax and  soak in the tranquil surroundings.

 

THAJWAS GLACIERS: Explore Thajiwas Glacier, which is  located about 5 kilometers from Sonamarg. Upon reaching, take a leisurely walk  through the serene meadows and enjoy the stunning views of the glacier,  surrounded by lofty peaks.TAKE PONIES OR UNION CAB TO  REACH.

After breakfast in  the morning, proceed towards Gulmarg. Enroute you get to see the beautiful  Tangmarg town and drive ahead on a scenic drive of 14 kilometers to Gulmarg.

 

GANDOLA  RIDE - You can enjoy there in Gulmarg the very famous "Gondola  Ride" up to Phase-1 & 2.The timing of the gondola is 10 AM (IST) to 5  PM (It's highly dependent upon the weather at both stages). Today after breakfast in early morning we will set off towards  Pahalgam, a stunning hill station nestled in the Anantnag district of Jammu and  Kashmir.

 

SAFFRON FIELDS OF PAMPORE - Your first stop is at the beautiful  saffron fields of Pampore, known for producing some of the world's finest  saffron. Walk through the fields and learn about the labor-intensive process of  saffron cultivation. Marvel at the vibrant purple flowers and capture some  memorable pictures amidst the picturesque landscape.

 

AWANTIPORA RUINS - Next, visit the ancient Awantipora  Ruins, an important archaeological site dating back to the 9th century. Explore  the remains of the temple structures, including the Avantiswami Temple and the  Awantisvamin Temple. Admire the intricate stone carvings, pillars, and the overall  architecture, which reflect the rich heritage of the region.

 

MARTAND SUN TEMPLE - Your journey continues to the famous  Martand Sun Temple, also known as the Martand Tirtha. This ancient Hindu temple  is dedicated to the Sun god and is renowned for its grand architecture. psten  to interesting stories and legends associated with the temple from your  knowledgeable guide, and soak in the spiritual ambience of this historical  site.

 

APPLE VALLEY - This is a valley of apple farms. Thus, it got the name Apple  Valley in Pahalgam. It is one of the best places to eat fresh apples, walk in  an apple garden and stay in Mountain View resorts. You can find many apple  plantation workers doing their routine jobs pke plucking apples, sorting  apples by size and sending them in baskets to the warehouse. You can also  enjoy freshly brewed apple juice.

Today after breakfast we will spend  the Morning time in PAHALGAM by going for some small tours around the meadow,  after that we will drive back to Srinagar and in the evening we will proceed  for Shikara Ride on Dal Lake.

 

FLOATING  GRADENS: locally known as "Rad" or "Char" are a  distinctive feature of Dal Lake. These gardens are created by layering floating  vegetation, including soil and decomposed plant matter, forming a base for  growing various vegetables and flowers. Explore thefloating vegetable  gardens where locals cultivate a variety of vegetables.

 

FLOATING  MARKETS: Where you find vendors selpng Kashmiri handicrafts, souvenirs,  and local depcacies, adding a touch of traditional charm to the experience.

  

ACTIVITIES: You can go jetboating, kayaking, and other water sports.
